I have a question about gawker stalker. (Do not feign ignorance…you know you heart the gawk stalk.) Does it count if the celebs are corralled for a cause?
Tuesday night the Food Bank for NYC is throwing their annual “Can-Do” Awards Gala. For a mere $500 you can rub forks and elbows with the likes of Mario Batali (co-chair), Mario Cantone (auctioneer), Jimmy Fallon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Heath Ledger, Moby, Michael Moore, Mike Myers, Ed Norton, Oliver Platt, Rachael Ray, Peter Sarsgaard, Patti Smith, Michael Stipe (honoree), Stanley Tucci (mc), John Ventimiglia, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Super model DJ Helena Christensen mans the decks at the dessert-and-bubbly after party.
Bonus: It’s a tax deductible stalk because it’s for charity. Surely George would approve of that.
