hotsnack: jamie oliver the naked chef 2

This morning my in-box contained an urban legend that’s apparently getting a second life. Back in 2003, a word doc purported to be the manuscript of Jamie Oliver the Naked Chef 2 began to appear in in-boxes from Sydney to Saskatchewan. Comprised of photos and actual Oliver recipes culled from other books, the 122 page document circled the globe. The original source and copyright infringers were never tracked down, and it popped up again at the end of August. My copy came from New Zealand, so hard to judge if it’s the original email that just took two years to get to kiwiland, or if it’s a fresh assault. Either way, it creates a nice buzz (I’m writing and you’re reading) and maybe some sales for Oliver (so he can finally by some clothes).
