CRUMBS MAKES ITS WALL STREET DEBUT

FULL SERVICE BAKERY AND CATERER

OPENS IN THE HEART OF THE FINANCIAL DISTRICT

(New York, NY - November 8, 2007)- The financial district will get a little bit sweeter with Crumbs Bakeshop making their Wall Street debut on Tuesday, November 13.  As the brainchild of husband and wife team Mia and Jason Bauer, Crumbs first took Manhattan by storm in 2003 as the originator of gourmet cupcakes based on Mia’s personal collection of delectable recipes. Now in the company’s mere fourth year, Crumbs is ready to unveil its fifth shop in Manhattan, rounding out Crumbs’ presence in New York and marking a sweet spot in virtually every neighborhood.

Crumbs Bakeshop provides a unique experience to their customers. Inspired by the aesthetic of old-time candy shops, the décor features shades of pink, orange and yellow, with a French tiled floor, custom wood display cases and charming decorative touches, including an abundance of hand written chalkboards. Exclusive to the new Wall Street location is a state-of-the-art catering area, double the size of the front bakery, where bakers create confectionary delights made to order for breakfast meetings, dessert parties and corporate events.

Known for their cupcakes, Crumbs bakes over 50 varieties each day in nostalgic and heavenly flavors such as Oreo, Devil Dog, Reese's, Red Velvet and Caramel Apple. Patrons can look forward to the baker’s favorite specialty cupcake of the week and the must try "Artie Lange" cupcake, created by Artie Lange of the Howard Stern Show, where a portion of the proceeds go to LifeBeat, an AIDS/HIV awareness program working in collaboration with the music industry to reach youth.

A full-service bakeshop, Crumbs bakes more than 150 different sweets daily including cookies, brownies, muffins and custom ordered birthday and special occasion cakes made within 24 hours. To compliment the sweets, Crumbs offers gourmet whole leaf teas, fair trade organic coffees, a variety of homemade sodas and rich Ghirardelli hot chocolate.

Crumbs Wall Street is located at 87 Beaver Street between Hanover Street and Wall Street. It is currently open from 7:00AM till 8:00PM Monday through Friday and will be open weekends starting in 2008. Crumbs desserts are the perfect delicacy to give as a special gift, cater to an event or savor as a personal treat.

On Friday, November 16, to celebrate their grand opening, Crumbs will treat their first 1,000 customers to a complimentary cupcake of their choice. For more information on Crumbs Wall Street visit crumbsbakeshop.com.
